How to Install Hampify as an App on Your Phone

You can use Hampify directly from your browser, but you can also install it on your phone and open it like a regular mobile app.

Once installed, Hampify appears on your home screen with its own app icon. You can open it with one tap and enjoy a cleaner, more focused experience without having to search for the website each time.

There is no need to visit an app store or complete a lengthy download. Hampify is a Progressive Web App, commonly called a PWA, which means it can be installed directly from a supported web browser.

What Is a Progressive Web App?

A Progressive Web App is a web application that can be installed and used much like a traditional mobile app.

After installation, Hampify gets its own icon on your home screen and opens in a separate app-style window instead of an ordinary browser tab.

Although Hampify is built using web technology, we have carefully customised the mobile experience to feel natural and familiar. This includes mobile-friendly navigation, responsive interactions, pull-to-refresh, and an interface designed specifically for smaller screens.

You get the convenience of the web with an experience that feels at home on your phone.

Before You Begin

Open Hampify in a supported browser on your phone.

Popular options include Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Samsung Internet, Opera, Brave, and other modern mobile browsers. The available installation option and its wording may differ depending on your device, browser, and software version.

If you opened Hampify from WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Gmail, or another app, the page may be running inside that app’s built-in browser.

If you cannot find an installation option, open the browser menu and select an option such as Open in Browser, Open in Safari, Open in Chrome, or the name of your preferred browser. You can then continue with the instructions below.

How to Install Hampify on an iPhone or iPad

Step 1: Open Hampify in a supported browser

Open your preferred supported browser and visit Hampify.

If you followed a Hampify link from WhatsApp or another app, make sure the page is open in the full browser rather than inside the original app.

Step 2: Open the Share menu

Tap the browser’s Share button.

Depending on the browser and your toolbar layout, the Share button may appear directly on the screen or inside the browser menu.

Step 3: Select “Add to Home Screen”

Scroll through the available actions and tap Add to Home Screen.

If the option is not immediately visible, you may need to scroll further, open additional actions, or edit the actions displayed in your Share menu.

Step 4: Choose the app-style experience

Where shown, turn on Open as Web App. This allows Hampify to open in its standalone app-style window instead of an ordinary browser tab.

Some browsers or software versions may apply this automatically without displaying the option.

Step 5: Tap “Add”

Confirm the app name and tap Add.

The Hampify icon should now appear on your home screen. Tap it whenever you want to open the app.

How to Install Hampify on Android

The exact wording may differ slightly depending on your phone and browser, but the process is generally similar.

Step 1: Open Hampify in a supported browser

Open Hampify in your preferred browser.

If the link was opened inside WhatsApp or another app, move it to the full browser first.

Step 2: Look for an installation prompt

Your browser may automatically display a message inviting you to install Hampify.

Tap Install, Add, or the equivalent option shown, then confirm the installation.

If no prompt appears, you can install it from the browser menu.

Step 3: Open the browser menu

Tap the browser’s menu button. This is commonly represented by three dots or three lines.

Its position may vary depending on your browser and phone.

Step 4: Choose the installation option

Look for an option such as:

• Install app
• Add to Home screen
• Install
• Add shortcut to Home screen

The exact label depends on the browser being used.

Step 5: Confirm the installation

Tap Install or Add to complete the process.

Once finished, the Hampify icon should appear on your home screen or in your app launcher.

How to Open Hampify After Installation

After installing Hampify, you no longer need to open your browser and enter the website address each time.

Simply find the Hampify icon on your home screen and tap it.

Your account, hampers, gifts, and activity remain connected whether you access Hampify from the installed app or through a browser.

What If I Cannot See the Install Option?

First, confirm that Hampify is open in a supported browser and not inside WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Gmail, or another app’s built-in browser.

You should also check that:

• You are not browsing in private or incognito mode.
• Hampify has loaded completely.
• Your browser and phone software are up to date.
• You have checked both the browser menu and the Share menu.
• Hampify is not already installed on your device.

Remember that the option may be labelled Install app, Add to Home Screen, Install, or Add shortcut, depending on your browser.

If it is still unavailable, try opening Hampify in another supported browser on your phone.

Can I Remove Hampify Later?

Yes.

You can remove Hampify in the same way you would remove another app or home-screen icon from your phone.

Removing the installed app does not delete your Hampify account. You can still return through your browser and sign in again.
